Am as gloomy as d day. With the weather n my daughter's fever. She was shivering around 4 pm and I brought her to Tanjung Bunut's clinic. Fortunately no other patients were there, and the process to get her see the doc was very fast. I like this clinic not only cos the place is seldom packed but also the staff n the doctors there. I have gone three separate times and I am very satisfied. I hope other clinic would have the same kind cooperation and gestures towards patients.

The gloomy weather seems to be gone today. Lets hope so. We saw with horror the house which was affected by landslides, our main road closed due to landslides. the underpass closed due to flooding, Ban people (Ban 3 and 5 mainly) were very much affected by the flood. My uncle's house was also involved. Many people are out on the road to bring children just so they can sleep with aircond in the car due to electricity failure. Some landlines were not working and people can't buy things or pay bills with credit cards, and my friend's area has no water supply. Masyallah....Insaf meliat..My lift at my sis's apartment isn't working and the parking lot was flooded. Some cars were left by the side of the road, and some can only be seen by the roof.

I know this is nature's doing. But we have to bear in mind, some natural disasters came as a sign of warning. This is only January of the year 2009, and we already have some terrible moments that would remain in our heart. My heart and condolences go to the family of the late Chinese lady, and the late 19 year-old girl. Regardless of our religion, race, I felt so sad to know that the incident took 2 lives. In addition this incident will make us stronger, and the team spirit that has been shown by everybody was the best remedy to all. My sis said dorang bekatuk2an di apartment to wake up everybody when they saw the flood. This was the time to ignore our differences. Let's also applaud the police, fire brigade, and other parties whom had enormously put their effort to standby and help others to come through this difficult times. We are one Brunei and together we are stronger!
